Online Inductions - Coming Soon
It is a legal requirement that Inductions are performed by any person working within a property under your company’s control. Whether that person is an employee, contractor or a contractor’s employee, the legal obligation is the same. Get Inducted provides an easy, cost efficient system for managing inductions on the internet (eLearning).
eLearning is an accepted form of training and communicating with your employees and contractors. It has the added advantage of enabling inductions to be performed without the necessity for constant supervision, and thereby reducing the cost to your organisation.
The major benefit of Get Inducted is the ability for employees, contractors and contractor’s employees to perform their inductions in their own time or at a time convenient to your organisation. Rainy days are a good example. For contractors, the induction is required before the contractor or contractor’s employee arrives at a property.
The time and cost savings are obvious. For the property owner or employer the inductee can be inducted off-site and in their own time.
Record Keeping
TSA's online induction system enables easy tracking and record keeping of licences and trade / skills information of inductees.
In the case of contractors and their employees, it is their responsibility to ensure licences and trade certificates are valid and up to date.
Online Inductions
Providing employees, contractors and their contractors with online inductions is more efficient and cheaper:
- The induction is done during the contractors time, so there is no billing while the contractor is sitting around waiting for, or doing the induction.
- Company resources – both people and facilities – are no longer tied up with inductions.
- Tracking who has and hasn’t been inducted and when everyone is due for re-induction becomes a simple, easy process.
- Online inductions provide for proper examination of the contractor’s understanding and comprehension of your inductions, increasing your legal protection.
- All induction information is available online for verification.
- Inducted contractors and their contractors carry an induction card, simplifying the verification process.
- Inductions can easily be modified by any nominated site supervisors.
