Fire Safety Training
Training now has up to 4 levels depending upon the type of workplace. Each level more distinguishable than before. These levels are:
- General Evacuation
- First Response
- Co-ordination
- Fire Safety Advisor.
Training now must be conducted either before assuming certain roles, within 2 days of commencement or within 1 month of commencement depending upon the level required. Retraining is conducted at either: 1, 2 or 3 year intervals depending upon level. In high occupancy workplaces most training can only be done by a Registered Training Organisation or a Fire Safety Advisor.
