Contractor Assessment

The assessment process consists of questions to seek out evidence that a contractor is complying with the elements of the Standards required for QA, OHS, and Environmental Management.

The process is staged in order to achieve a base level of compliance. There-after, over a period which is convenient for the contractor we towards best practice. The best practice level is formulated according to the nature of risk of your business activities and the size of your business.

The process will specifically ask for information, documents and work activities. Evidence will be requested in the form of a "Statutory Declaration" from employers, sample risk assessments, typical work method statements and generally documents that provide evidence of systems and implementation.

This approach to the assessment process is based on benchmarking, evaluation, continuous improvement and accountability and encourages sustainability and visibility of safe work practices.
